I've returned to this game after a long break and i've just downloaded and configured the multihack but i keep crashing. Either when tweaking the hack or when trying to join an online lobby.

Bought a new laptop, installed l4d2 and downloaded the multihack. I also got the directx and the redistributables installed plus the dependecies. I'm pretty sure everything is in order. Otherwise i dont think the hack would have showed up ingame at all. But i can't tell which setting is causing the game to crash so aggressively.

Tried your suggestion and the same. I don't use weapons info method 2 so what gives?

Also, how am i supposed to use the M1 and M2 actions? How to make them work? I mean to instantly revive, heal or defib someone because these options don't seem to work. They rarely do. 

Also, are there any experimental, or in progress features that i should stay away from until a newer version is released?

insta options got fixed, they no longer work on first try
the current version is little unstable with backtrack and what I said before, I didn't check you crash yet butinthe version I sent you it should not crash but I will check anyways soon

@Raiden your crash log is failed, its 0mb, its empty.
maybe you try to load old config or something like this? anyways i will post a newer version soon. for now try to see what causes the issue, try to not use backtrack at all for now and dont forget to use the version that i sent above

@redogg What exactly does the Only Aim option do? How is it different to the Auto Shoot option?

Something is indeed very wrong. I tried activating the minimum cheats that i needed and tried to join an online game. Crashed while loading. Then injected the dll without activating any option. Just loaded the hack then tried to join an online game. Same thing. Each and every crash dump generated is empty. 0 kb. What gives? I'm pretty sure i've installed all prerequisites correctly. I'm not sure what else to try anymore. I mean i can join an online game without the hack being injected into the game. But if it's injected, even if i dont have anything activated, it crashes while loading.

autoshoot and only aim is the same thing, just some people told me to add option to only aim with aimbot without shooting, not sure why its useful for but i use it only to test stuff
just autoshoot shoots automatically and only aim doesnt

edit: maybe you have launch commands? some config with wired commands? did you try to disable your workshop? did you try to follow all the steps from injector?

So that must mean i have everything installed correctly. Maybe some video settings clash with the hack? I have everything on max. Although i really dont think thats the cause. It's really godamn stupid. It really is. Thanks a lot for your help!

I'm not sure what the cause, but I get crashed as spitter when I try to spawn or spit sometimes. It happens many times so I believe it's not random, just not always.

hi, i checked your crash and it comes from *C:\Windows\System32\apphelp.dll
did you update your windows to newest version?
does your game crash while not injecting and still having the files in game folder?

Yes my windows is up to date. Im running win 11 and it automatically gets the updates it needs so i dont think the windows being out of date is the problem here.
I tried the game without the hack and it works just fine. I could join an online game and it didn't crash whatsoever.
And yes with the files in the game folder and it didn't crash. So obviously it's something related to the hack. Maybe an option from there is causing this, i don't know. Or maybe it's something windows related. Hard to tell really. Maybe other win 11 users are experiencing something similar? Or maybe everyone else is running windows 10. Not sure. All i know is that it's ridiculous.
